Cornwall Music Service Trust Pupil Of The Month - February Winner

Cornwall Music Service Trust (CMST) is delighted to announce the winner of this month's award. Once again the panel took time to review the nominations and were very impressed by not only the pupils application to their own development but the commitment by them to help others also.

This month's award goes to Daniel Hunt from Cury Primary School who has demonstrated, at quite an early stage in his musical career, huge commitment and determination in his learning. Furthermore, he has helped fellow musicians at the school through their music medal exams, having gone through the process himself. He was and is keen to offer support and guidance to those learners just about to embark on what can be a nervous part of their progression.

Cheryl (Daniels Mum) said, 'We are proud and delighted Daniel's hard work has been noticed and rewarded. This will be a great confidence boost for him'.

Daniel also commented, 'I was surprised to win it. I was off sick when I found out. I said when Lowenna, my teacher, mentioned it to us that I wouldn't win. I'm really pleased!’

Well done Daniel for being CMSTs pupil of the month for February, we hope this inspires you to keep up the good work!
