Our teachers are always happy to give parents advice on acquiring an instrument for their child. This could be in the form of a loan, a rental scheme or purchasing a new or second-hand instrument.

Where do i buy an instrument?

The Cornwall Music Service Trust has teamed up with Ucan Play to offer great prices on a wide range of instruments, with expert advice and high-quality aftercare. Choosing the right instrument - with the help of your teacher - can make a huge difference to your progress.

CMST recommends trying instruments out before buying wherever possible. Where online purchase is preferred you can benefit from great prices and support through our Ucan Play portal - on a wide selection of instruments carefully chosen by our music teachers.
